J'en ferais bien mon quatre-heure [I'd love To Make Him My Afternoon Snack] was composed by Odile and Isabelle alone to be the flip side of Vélomoteur.
Listening to it, one is struck by the sobriety of the arrangements - two voices and one unplugged guitar - standing out against the other songs by the Calamités. Some have seen it as an influence from Jonathan Richman, whose gigs were attended i.a. by Odile.
The lyrics deal once again with a seduction story as seen by her. The meeting at a baker's slightly reminds of the one at the candy store in Leader of the pack by the Shangri Las!
It was the second time (after Le garçon de New York) Les Calamités sang "je t'aime" [I love You] but it was the first time they described a relationship in such a peaceful way. Even though "all these ladies" ("toutes ces dames") are also competing, the tender words of the chorus are very far away from the troublesome if not hopeless stories of Toutes les nuits, Behind your sunglasses, Pas la peine or Le garçon de New York.
