IT'S COLD OUTSIDE
Interpreted on stage but never recorded by Les Calamités

It's cold outside is a song by the Cleveland band called The Choir when the record was released, in late 1966. They were formerly named The Mods, as they wanted to pay tribute to the British Beat, including with their long hair.
The group temporarily splitted less than two years later, without any other hit of that kind. Several of its members were later to found the Raspberries.
As far as rock culture is concerned, The Choir is exactly at the crossing of what influenced the Calamités: an American garage group of the 60's, inspired by The Who and the Mersey Beat,...
But before the Calamités, It's Cold Outside had been covered in the U.S. by Stiv Bators in 1979.

It's Cold Outside

Lyrics/Music: Dann Klawon

Well my world used to be sunny
And jokes used to be funny
But now you're gone and everything's turned all round
Well my world used to be warm
And there never was a storm
But now you're gone and everything's turned upside down

And now it's cold outside (it's cold outside)
And the rain is pouring down
And the leaves are turning brown
Can you see
That now it's cold outside (cold outside)
And it's all because of you
Cause there's nothing I can do
To make you love me

Well my world used to be sunny
And jokes used to be funny
But now you're gone and everything's turned all round
Well my world used to be warm
And there never was a storm
But now you're gone and everything's turned upside down

And now it's cold outside (it's cold outside)
And the rain is pouring down
And the leaves are turning brown
Can't you see
That now it's cold outside (cold outside)
And it's all because of you
Cause there's nothing I can do
To make you love me

And now it's cold outside (it's cold outside)
And the rain is coming down
And the leaves are turning brown
Can't you see
That now it's cold outside (cold outside)
And it's all because of you
Cause there's nothing I can do
To make you love me
To make you love me
To make you love me
To make you love me-e-e-e
